Artwords Bookshop
Thought I would share this little treasure I always stop by when I’m around Rivington Street. Artwords is a simple bookshop with a wealth of content. Specialising in contemporary visual culture.
The shop itself is quite narrow and your usually rubbing shoulders with the keen reader next to you, but when your lost in all the beautiful imagery, you don’t even notice. The shop owner is friendly and always happy to help. I love what they did with the lighting, giving it an edge (allot like Rough Trade) and the white walls with basic shelving works really well.
Unfortunately the top shelves are a bit high (due to the small floor space), but there is always someone to help you reach. Definitely worth a visit, 69 Rivington Street, EC2A 3AY.
