Rapha
When I was young, my dad would take me with to our local bike shop (Flandria) to get his bike fixed or to buy new parts. I would wait around, usually sitting on a greasy stool and listen while he chats with the owner, planning their next trip across South Africa’s beautiful terrain. With my dad and brother often cycling, it has always been a sport close to my heart. Visiting the new Rapha Cycling Club in Soho, I definitely felt a sense of remembrance.
Rapha is a brand built on passion. Scrolling through the blog or speaking to Rapha supporters you can’t help but notice this. What I enjoyed most about the store is that you don’t have to be an avid cyclist to enjoy it. The mood is relaxed with exceptionally friendly staff. If you have a bike you can bring it and leave it inside while you have a drink or a browse. They have a great little café with good food and even better coffee. Definitely worth a visit.
